It was through the tireless design efforts of this Honorary Volunteer that we were able to construct and maintain our first web presence.  Working behind the scenes, she was our Webmistress for several years until work and illness made it impossible for her to continue.  After a fierce battle with cancer, her battle-worn spirit was called Home on Saturday, October 25, 2008.  She now resides with all of our beloved pets that have gone before us and is lovingly caring for them in our stead until we too are reunited.

She was truly one-of-a-kind in her life, her lifestyle, and her flair for the rare and unusual.  Her free and uniquely Petra spirit will live within each of us that knew and loved  her.
