About Willow

Little Willow, with a birthdate in December (12/15?), came to our rescue after leaving her mama at an early age due to a special set of circumstances.  She is guessed to be black lab/beagle mix and looks like a mini black lab with longer, flappy ears.  At the end of February, her weight was 9#, and it is estimated that her weight may be 40# – 50# as an adult.  Spayed and with age-appropriate vaccinations, she is ready to join her new family and move into her permanent home.  Willow is very active, runs FAST!, is playful and enjoys other dogs  House training has begun but is not yet foolproof.  Typical puppy behavior is greatly enjoyed, such as chewing on boots, shoes and slippers, wanting to chew on sticks outdoors,  not always sleeping through the night, going outdoors many times each day,  and snooze time as a lap dog.

Foster parents are in search of adopters with puppy experience and knowledge of puppy-proofing a home, a securely fenced yard or pen with quick and easy access, someone at home much of the time to facilitate her training, and walks and playtime outdoors when the weather is warmer.  A puppy training class would be very beneficial.  Willow has been eating a quality grain-free kibble and should continue to do so.

Please give considerable thought before adopting a puppy.  If you think your family has the time and resources to raise a puppy successfully, we would like to consider your application. Willow’s tag # is 1826.

Adoption Fee: $275.00
