About Mickey
Mickey is an 8 year old brown Dachshund that has been neutered and weighs 17 lbs. He came from a home with elderly owners that could no longer take care of him. Since being in the rescue he has been brought up to date on shots, has had a complete dental, making his smile even sweeter. He is heartworm negative and is in overall good shape for his age. He is friendly, active and loves to play with balls. He gets along with cats and dogs, is housebroken and crate trained. He has not been on a leash much and will need training in this area. He walks with the family dogs off leash and comes when called. He loves his food and is not food aggressive but eats very fast and tends to snatch treats, so young children may not be the best choice. Otherwise, he’s cuter than a bug.
